Heroine of the Month: Marcia Ralston

Through the thrities and forties Marcia Ralston,  worked steadily as a supporting player in B-Movies like Shh! The Octopus (1937), Crime Takes a Holiday (1939), Keep ‘Em Flying (1941), Sunday Punch (1942) and Out of the Blue (1947).  Her one serial was Universal’s Sea Raiders (1941), as the daughter of a rich industrialist who is secretly commiting acts of sabotage for a foreign goverment.  When she learns the truth, the patriotic rich girl joins with the Dead End Kids and Little Tough Guys to oppose the saboteurs.  Ralston seemed to have disappeared from acting after this, but acording to IMDB she returned to the public eye in the late sixties, playing the recurring character of Nurse Donnelly on the Marcus Welby, MD televison show.
